Welcome to ETCI Interactive and the ETCI Wiki
Collaborative Tools
We spend a lot of time in our NEPA and other environmental workshops touting collaboration. The US National Environmental Policy Act requires an interdisciplinary approach to environmental impact assessment, and anyone who has successfully created an ongoing environmental management system knows collaboration is essential to success.
So here is a collaborative tool for our environmental community....very high tech (although we still support the use of sticky notes and flip charts, and probably always will), very accessible, very Web 2.0.
We plan to populate the wiki initially with links to environmental information and web sites, photo galleries of successful (and not so successful) projects, summaries of ideas from our blog and Podcasts, descriptions of programs and organizations of interest to you, our colleagues.
What's a Wiki?
A wiki is a mechanism for managing collaboration. Authorized participants can add, edit, or delete content. On this wiki, you can also upload or link to images, calendars and other features. In an office setting, you can use a wiki to work on documents together, or plan meetings, or schedule events.
This wiki will supplement features already available on our web site such as white papers, Podcasts, The Environmental Blog, and ETCI's Big Book of NEPA Checklists and Protocols.
So collaborate, already!
